Environmental Damage?

CoinscratchCoinscratch Posts: 10,902 ✭✭✭✭✭

I found these roll hunting a while back. Some have very vibrant colors and most but not all also have what looks like water damage residue.
Is this water damage possibly mixed with unique elements to produce the colors?
Or a failed attempt at home cooked toners?
And finally, do you think that one of these w/o the obvious brown water marks might straight grade?

I really don't see anything worth grading. The colored ones just look like environmental damage, oils, etc....

Looks like they may have been exposed to heat.

It is hot here, I never thought of that. There's one or two that would make a great looking TV but not with an ED tag on the label. I got bigger fish to fry - lol.
    thanks.

I would say that most would get an environmental damage rating. Looks like heat and water damage. Cheers, RickO

    Yeah sorry.
Here is what a "true toned" Lincoln should look like!

They sort of look like this guy’s rejects from when he bakes cookie sheets full of Lincoln’s in his easy bake oven and then sorts them out and arranges them in frames and sells them as art.

Nice and "Flashy" but they seem cup holder coins. The Copper coated zinc cents really like to flash the colors. Put one over a flame and it will produce beautiful colors.

I must've really been bored to post these :D going on 4 months since last order received, no new material to talk about lately, starting to dredge through old finds, freeing flips from garbage you know it's a tough life :D
