Thinking about adding it to my next submission, but unless it grades 65, I don't think it's worth the shipping and fees.

I have a 66 that looks like that but not a 1913.

It's a purdy coin. I would take the risk.

From the photos I would think at least 65, if I needed to sell it then I would send it in. If not selling then I would not.

I'd take the chance on that one. It appears to be a very strong strike and I don't see any really serious marks.

Unless there's something we can't see I would send it in, looks 65/66 from the pics. I really like the color it has.

Anyone familiar with how Jefferson nickels have been graded, I don't believe it matters whether a coin has a strong strike or not to qualify for a MS65 and up grade. But I do agree that the OP's coin has a decent strike.

The coin would probably need to grade higher than 65 to justify the cost of grading. And it looks like it could, based on the first set of images. However, while it’s possible that ANACS was conservative in its grading, the fact that they graded it as low as they did leads me to guess that the coin has issues which aren’t apparent in the pictures.

I really like the first set of images... The real art of engraving is captured with what we see. This represents what numismatic art was in contrast to what it has be become. It is a masterpiece that represents why some collect.
I like the coin for what it is- and a spot in a type set album whether it be the Dansco 7070 or Whitman or Library of coins. This coin should not be defined by a slab and should be part of something greater.

Submit...It looks like it could be a 66 to me. I once had an 1805 or 07 10c piece graded in one of those old holders as a F-12. I sent it in to our host and it graded VF-30.

I would send it in but the way grading has been it may go in a 64 holder but a nice coin. I try to grade most of my coins but will send them in with my free submission or when I send in other coins.
