Any UNC rolls of State Quarters worth a premium?

I have at least a few UNC rolls of each date and mint of the State series from Delaware to Hawaii. No territories or ATB. They are all from original solid bank rolls when issued, not circulation finds (I had a good credit union and trading partner for the D mints). That's a lot of cash sitting idle and I was planning to cash them in.
Other than looking for good varieties and possible high grades, are there any specific rolls that tend to sell for a modest premium? Otherwise, it's off to the credit union. Thanks

i don't have the answer as well as some here on the forum might but i gotta believe if you have unc rolls, with or without the special wrapping, someone would be interested in full or part-date runs. not saying they're gonna fly off the shelves but surely someone out there...
i take chances on stuff like this from time-to-time and get average results. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I listed some BU statehood quarter rolls on the BST a few years ago when the greysheet bid was $20 to $40 per roll. I got offers that would have netted me less than face after accounting for shipping costs.
Just sayin'.
No special mint rolls, just the standard Loomis type. I put almost all of them in tubes so I know they are solid UNC rolls, not mixed dates.

I'm not trying to discourage you from trying to move them, just wanted to let you know how it went for me. I ended up taking mine to the bank.
eBay. Some used square quarter tubes have gone for a buck each recently. Maybe group into 10 or 20 tube lots based on shipping.
Trade them in for pre 82 cents, I hear that is the new hot item to hoard.

was just at an auction and 100.00 dollars' worth were sold at such a low price that the seller lost money after seller fee was subtracted from amount sold price. Spend Them!
Doesn’t the coin dealer Miller’s Mint in New York State buy these for decent premiums? Just have to ship to him.
I sold some 80 early UNC bank wrapped rolls of state quarters (1999-2000 years) to a collector for $14 a roll about five YEARS BACK.
He was looking for errors in certain years and states only.
I was glad to get rid of them...the rest got taken out to the casino coin counter and put back in circulation.

Some interesting US mint sets and about 1000 bicentennial quarters.
No silver bicentennial quarters and I checked eBay for sold listings But didn't see they were bringing any real return over face value.
No Kidding 2 weeks after I took those bicentennial quarters to the casino coin machine, People were paying 2x face for nice bicentennial quarters on eBay...
Go figure.
That is the problem. While you might get over face (retail), you won't get enough over face to ship them.
Of course, based on the silver dollar thread, I'm guessing forum members are only offering $8 per roll in these parts.
De, TX, IL, and TN have significant premiums but you need more than just a few rolls to cover postage costs.
I would save varieties and GEMs and any post-'04 in chBU.

Here’s what I did with the presidential dollars, state quarter rolls, and nickels I bought from the last deal. Long story short it went right to the bank.

I've noticed when getting rolls of quarters for the retail store I manage that there are brilliant uncirculated coins of the state quarter years mixed in so they're getting returned to the banks after being kept out of circulation now for over 20 years.
There was a dealer from Ohio that stopped in the shop last week on his way back from myrtle beach looking for Territories and national parks quarter rolls, paying 14.00 per roll. i did not have any nor do I keep them, put i hooked him up with one of my customers who had quite a few, and they worked out a deal.
The only 'rolls' I purchased, were from the Mint, and those were Sacagawea's the first year of issue. Still have them.... Never purchased the quarters. Cheers, RickO
The 1999, 2006, 2007 and 2008 rolls can net you a small profit on eBay. In particular, the ND thru NM Philadelphia coins and the 1999 DE thru GA Denver coins do okay. Mint wrapped rolls seem to do better, but there are many SOLD listings in the $15-$18 per roll range and they charge shipping (usually around $5). A lot of work for a $5 gain imo, but an option. FYI.

Exactly. Wholesale price on several of the rolls are close to $20 and several more at $15. The parks quarters are much higher still.
Most of these coins are very underappreciated by the hobby which can be seen in the fact that some of the tougher ones bring little or no premium. The WY issue for example is not easy to find in non stain finish Gem but the rolls wholesale at $11. There are several other examples like this.
These coins might still surprise people. While most are very common I suspect some are not nearly so common as the perception. Many of the coins that come into coin shops just go straight to the bank and the common wisdom is that they are just a drain of collector resources. I, personally, would not hang onto common issues in common condition because there are just too many but I put away a few from time to time.
I'm a bit biased, but I agree. There are about 15 or so MS68 examples on Great Collections right now, it will be interesting to watch these in the upcoming weeks. Note that while usually a lofty grade, there are over 15,000 PCGS-68 graded State Quarters. I'm guessing folks might be surprised what a State Quarter might be worth. My two cents worth.

My local dealer pays me $11 per roll. I got 280 rolls from a bank just a few months ago and took them right to this dealer and made $280. Not worth the time and effort to try to sell them on ebay for a possible loss anyways after costs. I am very happy making $280 just for going to a bank and running them right to the coin shop. Most dealer don't want them and will tell you to take them to the bank.
There were also high prices for the 1999 clad set and the 1994-1998 sets at one time. The 2004 set also had a high premium before going down to the same value as the 2005 sets which have higher mintages.
This is what happens when you have too many products coming out of the mint competing for collector attention.
What about "S" rolls and bags (100 coin)? for me, these are just bulk and weight. What to do?
