PS: I just turned 18 on the 31st!!

    As someone already mentioned the photo looks a little dark, but I like it as it shows a lot of detail.

    You can see in the picture that the metal around the "2021" was pushed up in elevation and it subsequently became lighter in color (abraded) during the antiquing process. A raised lip of metal such as this is typical for a counter-stamp.

    So these pieces were first over-struck without the "2021" date, and then that date was counter-stamped into the coin using a punch and hammer. Positioning and angle of the counter-stamp will vary.
