Some of the statements about top grading companies were disturbing,
Like coins being stolen
Coins being switched.
Coins being damaged.

I find it hard to believe and even harder to read!

    If you move enough coins you are bound to have a few mishaps.

    That being said, dealers can be just as bad as anyone else about jumping to conclusions and making baseless accusations.

    What site are you referring to? Is this an issue for the numismatic crime institute?

    There are people online who would complain / argue about anything probably till RCI hades freezes over. Don’t have time for them.

    I have my own situation to worry about like keeping my business in the green.

    One needs to take responsibility and be cognizant enough on the bourse they practicing good security, not giving away material.

    I can understand some minor errors (like labels, or shipping the wrong coin) from major TPG's. However, I would very strongly doubt the type enumerated in the OP. Cheers, RickO

    I just don't know about this but i always take photos of coins I send in.. I haven't yet experienced anything like above. I think stealing a coin would be very difficult. Dropping and damaging one, that's more likely.. Switching coins? seems like a difficult thing to do once the coin is in the grading house gates..

    Possible for sure, but any evidence surface of these accusations?

    Without knowing who made the comments, precisely what the comments were or what details and supporting evidence, if any, were provided, it’s difficult to comment in a meaningful manner. As such, I don’t really understand the purpose of the post.

    nothing wrong with sharing what dealers think about TPGs. I find it a bit disturbing and would like to know the experience level of each dealer involved.
