    The photo of the 1929 cent fails to show the luster present on the coin under the toning on the obverse. In hand under good lighting the obverse shimmers and glows.

    Any copper coins whose dates begin with 17... get my attention. How was the 1794 dated? I could not see the date in the pictures. Cheers, RickO

    The 4 in the date is still present on the coin. It does not show well in the photo.
