    I like the appearance of the coin. I think "details" coins can be a good acquisition if they look good.

    What is a 7070?

    Exactly. Of all the 7070 types, the Seated and especially Trade dollars are coins I do like that little bit of extra assurance on.

    Here are some eBay listings which show the album and the supplemental gold page. I'm not saying the price is right on any of them, necessarily. Just to give you an idea on how to shop around.

    I believe this is my fourth 7070 album project in the last 25 years.

    This time around it's not my primary focus (that's here), but I will still enjoy it.

    you know i don't put much emphasis on type sets (as much as i should or would like to), yet EVERY time someone posts a nice one, even high or low grade pieces, i find myself enjoying them, including a couple gents on the toob of U recently sharing their finished multi-page examples!!!

    i don't see any holes in those coins BUT i won't tell anyone. wouldn't want your rep to take a hit for having TOO nice of coins. :P

    Oh, don’t worry, there’s a holey type set, too. ;)

    But I use a cork board and map pins for that, rather than a 7070.

    Maybe one day I’ll hang the holey set on my once-famous top hat, which has been in storage (sans coins) for years.

    Any thoughts on designing an album/display holder with spacing for holes for the coins along with sleeves for the TPG insert? Or even a separate page for just TPG inserts.

    I've seen folks add a page to the back of the album to contain all the crackout slab labels.
