There was nothing you could do. He's here to cause as much havoc as he can before the hammer falls. Honestly, I thought the OP in that thread was informative and interesting, I liked it. Of course, it did allow for a sideways discussion, but again, not your fault.

I don't know what this thread is about.
My last visit to the offending thread that is now closed showed some edits/deletions to the OP's comments.
But those comments are not what got that thread closed. The troll who started that thread got it closed.
