This is by far my favorite 62 I have in my collection. It’s graded 62 but I’ll assure you it’ll grade at least a 64 if resubmitted.

I think my question was convincingly answered in that forum members do have MS62 coins that deserve love. It's been great to see all the wonderful examples from members!

I doubt it will change the value but I like the concept. Local after the fact value adding. And not physically altering anything.
Just adding extra superstition.
That should be an option on coin sales in the South.
It would give us an edge I think. Only New Orleans.
I picked it because it was shiny and affordable. And after I have it Hoodooed, it will be one a kind.

I have few MS62's as I mainly buy online and suffer from FOMS (Fear of Missing Something) so I like them "pre screened"by trusted collectors/dealers. the Cent came from Lord M, the quarter from GFRC.
I just checked my inventory and my 62s mostly are in a few groups -- Morgans that are better varieties and/or more expensive in higher grades, 17th and 18th century non-US, and British Trade Dollars.
Here's a Morgan and a $2.50 Liberty in 62 that I think are nice.

Lance, I agree that the nicer ones have some cabinet friction. But many are choice AUs. You need to see the coin. It also helps to know the die pairing / Overton variety of the particular coin.

Yes, you should wish they were AU58+ with a CAC on it….
Here are some CBH MS62's. Do I wish they were higher grade? Sure. But I can be very happy with 62's.
