Attractive Coins with Heavy Patina
For those who like toned coins, you know there is a spectrum of how much toning exists and whether the toning is attractive. Heavy toning can also be an indicator of originality. I like a little and a lot of toning, depending upon this attractiveness factor.
Let's have a thread on the heavy/dark toning side. Provide one of your coins that you find attractive with this characteristic. Here's one of mine (PCGS AU 50 CAC):

These aren't toned to the same extent as the coin in the OP, but they have healthy patina. This level is around the limit of what I usually tolerate. Luster has to come through it for me to be OK with it.

I like heavy tone that lets the central devices show up nicely. PCGS 64FB below.

Where do I begin? I'm a sucker for dark toning. The Anti-rickO.
I like this coin because, like Fairlaneman's merc dime, the dark toning highlights the devices and detail.

I traded a friend a ASE for this ultra crusty peace dollar. Some of the spots are darker in hand but I really like it!

I tend to align myself with the Ricko blast white/red school of thought for the most part, but on occasion a coin with a crusty or heavy tone can be quite attractive.

Heavier patina suits me fine for certain series. I prefer them more in Capped Busted and Barber designs than the bright variety.

The picture doesn't quite fully capture the extent of the thick patina, particularly on the obverse. It's pretty stunning in hand.
