It has been a long while since I did a Spotlight and I think this newer member deserves one! @FlyingAl joined the forum this year and has made many excellent contributions through threads and comments.
Al demonstrates an excellent attitude and personality. He shows great intelligence and insight with coinage, always quick to be helpful and point things out in a respectful manner.
I have had the pleasure of having a few message conversations with @FlyingAl and always enjoy the interactions.

In all seriousness, this forum has been an amazing part of my collecting journey from when I started lurking years ago. It's only been better since I joined and it has been an excellent opportunity to meet amazing people who share the same passion. Shows were never able to provide this, and the few I've been to I have been met by a number dealers who have no interest in wasting their time talking to YNs, and only one who would do so. This led me to having to learn the world of numismatics on my own through trial and error. This forum has filled that gap in my collecting journey, so thank you to everyone here.

@FlyingAl Is a very sharp YN! I oftentimes will go to him for opinions on coins, and he always has very astute insights. The future of numismatics is safe!

Glad to have FlyingAl on the forums.
His posts are great; and he collects some of the same coins I do.
I know @FlyingAl has responded to at least a couple of my posts/comments. I am always grateful for the information and insight he provides. Plus he has good taste in coins. Thanks again.
He also correctly guessed the dates of 3 out of 5 coins in a recent competition, which was so incredible that the actual winner (only got one coin but the highest denomination which was the rule made) actually suggested I give the prize to @FlyingAl
