It's a McCarthy Postcard. 1966 I believe. Uniform looks like rookie year before they changed it up the following year.

Tomi- you know which is more rare. The yellow print Phil Esposito on the back, or the yellow print Bobby Orr on the back ?
They weren’t in vending. Only came from wax packs.
This card must have come from the Mastro auction. Vending cards were always o/c. No exceptions.Never mind . Just heard from Bobby. He said no one knows but someone had a 4x better chance of finding Gordie Howe card #193 with the number than finding the cards with the yellow print on the back of the Norris trophy card. He wasn’t sure if the Esposito or Orr was tougher to find, but based on eBay history I feel it’s the Orr.

Based upon a listing on Ebay, I questioned myself whether Orr was in my unopened Linnett Bruins pack. Without opening the pack, I was able to determine that the third card was Ken Hodge. So, there is a second Bruins pack that has Orr, Terry O'Reilly and an undetermined Bruin, I have to admit, I am pretty disappointed.

Anyone know how difficult this item is ? Seems like a good sale price or no ? I would think that may be a tough item to find complete ?

Well this is a very nice price that was paid yesterday. Anyone else with some recent price rises in cards or memorabilia ?

Like many others I feel Bobby Orr was the greatest ever. This is one of my favorite cards with Ken Dryden whose .922 all time save percentage is only equaled by Hasek at .922
So two of the best ever on this card.
Obviously I want Dryden’s auto on this card as well. I email Marcel Dionne at his store in Niagara and ask him if I sent this card and a check could he get Ken to sign without personalizing. He politely responds that can’t happen even though Dryden visits him there sometimes. Dionne’s daughter runs a restaurant next door too.
So I have this written and signed by Ken.
Guess who is very tempted to cut that signature out and perfectly place it behind his head on the card.

I like 68 Topps or opc signed.
The layout of the card is ideal for ink.
Black ink thrives on 68 # 2
the way gold ink thrives on the

I’m not sure what I’m going to do with my next 74 All Star. Not sure what color ink to use. Going to try to get both Cheevers and Orr on it. Any suggestions ?

Regarding the 1974 All Star card, I have same question. Gold does look nice now that I see one signed. My other thought was blue down where Bruins and Bobby Orr is shown.

I’m right there with you. In an all black card the gold is sweet. Nothing beats it. Yet when it’s partial black, it’s hard to decide.

This is a tough one too. Would you do black or blue ? I’m thinking blue would be best, but I also think black would be sweet.

Hate to say this but the 1967 set in general is my least favorite hockey set despite it having 2nd year Orr and rookie of Sanderson.. Having said that, i like black on that card. A blue autograhed 1967 Orr sold late last year. Meh at best.

Boston vs. Montreal was epic.
Orr and Dryden two of the best ever.
Marcel Dionne told me no chance of Ken ever signing this. So bought one of his signed books. I like it a lot. Still have some cutting to do on the paper around the Dryden.

A seller just listed some old signed Orr PSA cards on eBay. 68 through 74.
Problem is Bobby didn’t put those #4’s on them. His #4’s never look like that. The ink looks different too.

His #4 never loops like that and he’s got 4 or 5 for sale with that loop.
Out of 70 signed items in my collection here is the closest one to a loop, and it usually is at the top, not the middle.
