I have had this for years. I thought there had been some discussion on promotional items like this in the past, but I could not find anything. So, decided to post it for fun since I took the pictures.

I wonder if the R before the prices means South African Rands. Or Middle Eastern Rials.

Reminds me that McDonald's in Europe still fries their apple pies. Most Americans either forgot what those were like or were born after they were replaced with the "baked" ones in order to save our health.
Well worth the cost of a plane ticket to Europe.
Even though that is a foreign menu that was posted, you probably could get close to a meal for a dollar back then. One dollar in 1976 is equal to $5.05 in today's dollars. I have not been to a KFC in a number of years. Can you buy a two-piece for five bucks?
1969 KFC menu… i was 8 YO and just beginning to explore the Red book! Those were the days….you could still find a worthy coin or 2 in change..
Thanks for posting that. So, there you have it. In 1969, you can get a bucket for $4.90, and it comes with rolls and gravy.
In 1976 the South African Rand was worth more than a U.S. Dollar, roughly $1.20 - $1.25.
Have not been to a KFC in years....and the last one in this area closed down about four years ago. In fact, there are no specialty Fried Chicken places in this town. Have to drive ten miles and there is a Popeye's Chicken place. Of course I remember those prices and even cheaper ones. Raw chicken costs considerably more than that now. Cheers, RickO
