1977 D LMC RPM, Die Deterioration, OR PMD?

Here are a few photos of the 1977 D, I know there are no photos on V V of the 1977 D. Don't know if one is known exist. I found this interesting so i thought I would share.

    Damaged. Value = 1 cent.

    I believe that mint mark has taken a direct squeeze or hit.. I would call it PMD.... ICBW. Cheers, RickO

    Instead of showing us thousands of guesses you should take the time to educate yourself on the minting process, maybe they make a book small enough to fit under your microscope. :)
