I have this 1916 mercury.I see a mint mark. Can anyone tell me what they think it is.thank you

Looks like a 1916-S, plus some extra metal or debris to the right of the S.

High grade 1916-S mint mark area.

Possibly an S... but the wear and possible PMD makes it a guess IMO. Cheers, RickO
I'm trying to imagine it, but just can't come to that conclusion.

look at the low grade ones for comp.
I would not even consider spending the monies to send that coin for grading.
