Is the photo from APMEX?

APMEX has a photo system where they combine coin photos with slab photos.
I’m guessing they initially created this for stock photos and pre-release coins, like pre-release MS70s.
So this could be a mechanical error using that system.
Odd. Thanks for the info!
Or it could be a pattern or fantasy coin
I’ve run into these odd sized coin photos with APMEX before. Could be fun to keep track of these!
the barcode scans.
i have seen people put a larger version of a coin on the slab-shot image but never smaller.
interesting info about that tech zoins. seems odd but perhaps on large volume it makes sense?
It has to be APMEX. They combine images into mock-up slabs and also frequently use stock images that show old holder coins or coins that are superb for the grade. I don't think the stock image usage is by mistake.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Well, with the shadowing and sizing, it sure does look like it belongs in that PCGS slab.
I give up....why?
Nice but don't cate for all that toning, jmo
