By the way, Pedley-Ryan & Co. was an investment firm in Denver, Colorado.

Does anyone know the first names of Pedley and Ryan? Is there anything left from this company besides their medals, like brochures, envelopes, investment statements, etc.?

The "TYPE VII" is the one shown at the start of this thread. In the past I have seen them sell in the $5,000 range.
The "TYPE 2" version is also quite rare (reportedly 15 minted).

That holder, however, does not really represent a complete set. I have seen one "TYPE 4" that is uniface. And there is also a version counter-stamped "1929" (3 known).

What little I know about Pedley Ryan is that they were a commodities broker of some sort.

It's really interesting that Types 1-4 use Arabic numerals while Types V and above use Roman numerals.

Also interesting that very little is known about this company. Seems like it's less than we know about Arthur Bolles Bumstead:

I have fewer than 100 sale records between $5K and $10, and more than half of those are also Leshers or Erie Canal dollars.

If you take out the Leshers, the Erie Canals, and the gold pieces, there aren't many others that have sold for more than even $5K.

Good to know which ones see a lot of demand.

It will be interesting to know how many of those are owned by collectors of So-Called Dollars or just those particular pieces.

One interesting thought is what other items do Lesher dollar collectors collect, for example Pedley-Ryan dollars, Bryan dollars, Use Silver for Prosperity So-Called Dollars, or other So-Called Dollars.
