I suppose for a PO1 I would want it worse than better, so coin one for me!

I don't really care much about lowball grades, and honestly both of those look damaged to me. I'd say the first one if I had to pick. Still a neat coin, I'm sure everyone else has their own opinions on it

Here are examples of what PCGS considers a PO1 for the 1922 Peace dollar:
And this one is my favorite and one I'd love to own (no reverse photos found)!

That Bill Fivaz coin is my favorite too but apparently I didn't love it enough to win it!
The Bill Fivaz Collection of Low Balls is one of the two most famous low ball collections in my opinion, along with the D. Brent Pogue Collection. Lots of eye appeal in Bill’s coins.

Great info!
Thanks.
The first one...
Thanks! It's a great coin from a great collector. I would have picked it up if it wasn't for the fact there were other coins in the auction I wanted. I ended up picking up 2 other low balls from Bill Fivaz.
This thread just goes to show that not all PO01s are equal!
Uno.
1 for the ANACS but I like the PCGS examples more.

I have never cared for low ball coins... and would not purchase one. I know some people really like them - that is fine, we collect what we like. Cheers, RickO
The interesting thing is that the cert no longer verifies for the Bill Fivaz coin. I hope it has a TrueView now
This is a trick question, right?
I was thinking the same thing.
The answer is obviously the Fivaz coin
Nice lowballs! I lean toward Coin #2 myself.

Those are some POOR choices, but I like #2.

I suppose my welcome in terms of participating in this thread may be as worn out as the featured coins...
But the question was asked and answered without clarification as to the objective...
Is one more attractive because it is actually less attractive than the other?
