1943 cents are zinc coated steel. Your 1970-D cent suffers from an over polished die and lots of post mint damage.

No numismatic premium. The "floating roof" die polishing varieties are rather common. The other marks are just circulation damage.

Not according to what I've been reading up on the floating top and no initial... The floating to came from an employee at the mint not taking a step with the print and the no initial is because it was missed... There is no trace that it was there ... B

Someone needs to study up on the minting process. ;)

Check your sources. There is a lot of misinformation out there and what you've read is wrong. Your floating roof and missing initials are simply the result of an overused die.

I agree with the above assessment... Floating roof is fairly common, missing initials, die polishing... No significant numismatic premium. Cheers, RickO

I think the people here kinda know what their talking about. Go to the CoinCommunity.com forum and see what they say. Or go anywhere else and you'll get the same answers.

These is one of the places I found about the penny... Now I never said it was an error I was asking if anyone could tell me a little about them... And according to this article, they can be worth money.. not much but anything over . 01 value is a profit

And if you sell it on eBay (very likely the only place to find a buyer since dealers and experienced collectors have no interest) you'll need to account for fees, postage, shipping materials, and your time. Hopefully, you don't lose money.
