Except when the air is filled with smoke and/or it's over 100 outside. They do take Pi Day quite "seriously" there, as you can imagine. My daughter baked this for some friends.

A couple of blocks up from Caltech is Pie 'n Burger. They're Coconut Cream pie is delicious and stands `8-10" high. Pic doesn't do it justice.
