Jim Brown played for the Browns. So he is one example. Along with Red Kelly who played for the Red Wings. It was a nickname but good enough.
Was there a first name Angel who played for the Angels ?
Was there a last name White who played for the White Sox ?
Are there others ?

Johnny Podres spent his last year with San Diego but does not qualify because of one letter. Only where the players full correct name is within the team logo.

Sticking with the last name Brown for the Browns - I remember Orlando Brown, Big defensive player - 6'8", 350lbs. The referee threw his flag and ended up hitting him right in the eye and Orlando got pissed and pushed the ref to the ground.
