The Ms. and I went out to dinner the other night and our server's first name was Nolan. He said his parents named him after Nolan Ryan. I said that's cool, but asked him if he knew that Nolan was his middle name. He said no and that I was joking. I said I wasn't joking and his name is Lynn Nolan Ryan Jr. I think I bummed him out.
P.S. Henry Louis Gehrig, George Kenneth Griffey Jr. (and Sr.) and George Thomas Seaver probably would have told me to keep my mouth shut.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
how about the owner of perhaps the sweetest stroke in NBA history

Ricky Bobby...... or if you prefer.......Richard Robert.

I open this thread thinking it's "name on logo" not "two first names". I have three new posts to look at and I start from the bottom.
@SDSportsFan starts my day off strong! Billy Joe! Fullback! Buffalo! I don't remember the guy, but I can infer that he played for the Bills ....very nice...... Well done SDSF!
I scroll up. @ScoobyDoo2 has brought me Ricky Bobby. I lament the fact that I've never seen this oft-referenced movie, and assume that ol' Ricky drove for 'Rickety Racing' or some such team. Or maybe it's just a bad example. There's an LOL , but I'm on mobile so I don't know who thought it was funny.
Then I get to the creme de la creme, a four image shot of Ray Allen in his many uniforms. I spend at least fifteen seconds on it before finding myself in a funny conundrum. Not that I suddenly realized I was in the "two first names" thread, but rather I'm scratching my head thinking " I know @galaxy27 is a very bright man, how should I approach letting him know he might have missed the mark (but got an A for effort with the pics)?"
Then the sad reality dawns on me.
And I write this...
happens to the best of us @thisistheshow
the other day i ate a piece of patty pie and put my underwear on backwards
