Right on cue - every 3 to 4 weeks here comes a 1943 Copper cent thread.

    Great.

Go exchange it with DougShirey in his locked up thread https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/comment/13152413 and then figure out who has a better one >:)

Over the past few months I've seen a few China Sellers selling "Fantasy" coins in coin lots (groups) they had bunches of different coins, but in the mix were 1943 Coppers, 1909S-VDB's, I ran into them because of the 09SVDB's.
But, be assured!!! there is FAR more counterfeit 43 coppers out there than genuine ones, by a LONG SHOT! That one seller was selling them in lots of 20 at a time.
The thing is I don't look for the phony 43 coppers so most get by me. If you have a 43 copper, it could be made out of copper, it could weigh correct, but its still far more likely its a counterfeit!!!

ol' I'm not interested in buying yours either!
And no one else on here is going to be interested in buying it.
If you think its real then pay the money to get it certified and then put in on the market!

Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.

Why would you hope it's not bronze? The very rare and valuable ones are bronze.

@aj1955.... Welcome aboard. Have your cent checked by an expert.... You very likely have one of the many, many counterfeit coins. Cheers, RickO
