Good start to roll searching in 2022

Went to my local credit union and asked if they have any halves. They did and I asked for 10 rolls (I should have said that) but instead I asked for $100 in halves. The person brought four rolls of dollar coins. I said oops, he said opps and I had to sit for 15 minutes for vault to unlock.

I'm building "found in change" Kennedy album and for the firs eight rolls I found nothing special except a few D mint mark coins I needed. Last two rolls did not yielded anything new for album but "gifted" me these two coins. First 1964 Kennedy, then the last roll yielded 1963 Franklin. Happy day!

Halves are still the most likely place to find silver. Heirs of the original hoarders of such coins are now dumping them at the bank for face value.

Silver halves in roll searching are really becoming rare..... I did it for a while and only found one, a WLH... That certainly was exciting though. Cheers, RickO
