Here's something I created for my collection about 20 yrs. ago. I picked up a roll of BU 1955s cents for $20. I decided I wanted to place these in something special. I checked out a nearby mall where they sell jewelry. I seen they had small cases of 50 individual acrylic caps with velvet inserts. So since there were 50 coins in a roll, these cases also contained 50 acrylics. That's when I bought it to place my roll of '55s Lincoln Cents in. The case cost as much as the roll did! $20 I didn't mind. Thought this was pretty cool.
Some remained intact, some toned up a bit. Thanks
I pulled out 4 different ones to show the progression after 20 years.
First one
Second one, toned up
Third one, Obv. + Rev.
Fourth one
No DD's. I checked.

Very cool toned plate. Are there any markings on the back?

Just an S in the center. Certainly not Sterling or anything
For $3, it's a neat pick-up. While it's probably silver plate, I suggest that if you get a chance, get it tested with a sigma metal testing machine.

I had something similar I had for years I got for Christmas in a Sears coin collecting kit from the 60's. It had a very useful feature and wish I still had it. It had a mm scale on the lens that accurately measured coins!
In addition to being a numismatist I'm also a spelunker. Here's a Guy's Dropper mining lamp that still functions. You put rocks in the bottom and water on top. The lever thing on top controls rate of water dropping onto the rocks, which dissolves them and releases a flammable gas. Who knows, maybe the silver in one of your CC Morgan dollars was extracted by a someone using one of these.
Anyone know how to repair a crack in brass? It loses a little pressure from a small one in the flange you can kind of see in last pic.
No, it was a $50 16 ga. junker. The type that spends it's life behind the back seat. But I shot hundreds of partridge/rabbits with it. Something, somewhere along the way found it's way into the barrel.
@ZoidMeister
Is there something that you are seeing that I am not? Or are you just going by the ad on TV? I don't know what happened and would like to figure it out. If you are just doing the ad on TV, that's funny!
Some more Cool items!
In my collection, I have these old school canvas bank bags. 6, in total. Few are in different styles. Especially, the modern ones today. One is my everyday bag I use for bank trips to get rolls. Bad shape but still rugged. Even after many washes in the machine. Lol
Here they are guys.
