Any details on this one?
It's the first I've seen.

Strange one. I wonder if those labels were applied over the original PCGS label.
It just screams red flags. But that just might be me.
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
I did some digging and the following thread answers my question:

Good job digging that up!
Thanks!

I like the one in my thread on Samples, linked above - "Wealth" misspelled.
It seems overpriced at $1500 although he has an OBO option. I doubt that he'll come down much.

They are advertising promotional pieces bought by someone unless they say 'sample', as far as I am concerned.

Normally, I would agree. But in this case, I believe a small number were made to be given to Stansberry/PCGS personnel when they would meet with PCGS annually. I don't think Samples containing .18 oz of gold would be mass produced and given away as advertising pieces.
Probably worth $425 or so - my offer was rejected automatically.
in 2005 gold was in the $400-$500 range
there are businesses that routinely give $100 Christmas gifts to their important clients
maybe a PCGS dealer could clarify what it takes to make a 'special' PCGS slab for them?
Agreed. I'm trying to draw a line for the SSB 3rd Ed. If anyone wants to take a crack at my thinking, it's here:

I'm drawing a line between purely promotional pieces (where the TPG connection is non-existent) and those that are at least tangentially related to numismatics.
