Bringing Back The Rattler

I was admiring a Morgan Silver Dollar Rattler I bought at a recent coin show as I hadn’t seen one since I bought some in the 1980’s. Love the simplicity of the design, and the clarity of the view of the coin it provides, makes you feel almost like you are holding the coin in your hand. Just wondering if other collectors feel like PCGS should bring back a slim modern updated well designed holder that is true to the original rattler with all the anti counter fitting features. Opinions please. Tired of today’s pronged tomb like holder

I think when it comes to plastic, the less the better.

It seems plastic slabs are a necessary evil in today's collecting world. Provides authentication, protection and viewing without handling. I imagine some clever designers/engineers could come up with improvements, and likely will... but we have millions of these various old designs that will outlast all of us. Cheers, RickO

Not likely to happen, would be confusing to many.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.

Rattlers are less secure than the current PCGS slabs.

I prefer the current slab with retro green label. Those look really cool.

Not with the prongs. Not for me. Maybe without the prongs and a little bit slimmer slab like the older holders.
