    As I recall, I put a few of those in a coin swap about 20 years ago... 😉

    Pretty nice strike on the reverse of that Washington quarter though... 🙂

    As I understand it, in the year 2001 they started adding mint to the chocolate recipe. This resulted in quality problems, with uneven density and melting temperature. Those coins can come directly out of the manufacturing process with post mint damage. 😀
