Off Center Jefferson Nickel

Came across this at the flea market this AM. Is a coin like this worth grading? How collectible is something like this and possible worth?

What a beautiful error coin! Wow. Thanks for showing. That is a nice coin. However, grading it is another story. Maybe if you can see a date and/or mint mark? Than the coin might be worth sending in? Than of course there's the condition of the coin as well. Lol. You're asking the wrong guy. I for one tend to send in many coins that most would run away from. Lol. Just for appearance reasons. Beautiful pictures PCGS take or for sentimental reasons?
There are many error guys here on the forum. Maybe one or two might chime in to give you a better suggestion?
At least we know one thing about the Jefferson. It is NOT a Wartime silver nickel. Lol

Meanwhile, continue searching. These are quite interesting, along with the varities too. Good Luck, my friend.

One more thing...a word of caution. Crimp down those staples! You don't want them to scratch other coins. ;)

    Nice off center nickel. :)

    No

Very collectable and a nice addition to your collection. ;)
Value $15 to $50 with the best chance being around about $25

Collectible, yes. It’s fun to have them. Valuable? Not especially. Worth sending in? I wouldn’t unless it was very nicely preserved and it had a date.

Here's something I found a couple of months ago while coin roll hunting. It's a beautiful rotated Jefferson. Check out it's
true rotation. Hunt for these too. Many in all dates.
    Mine is a 2005p

    90% rotation

    Great feedback all. Thanks!
I paid $8 so hoping I just didn't overpay. I know in the past I stumbled across something similar on Ebay with bids but don't recall any of the specifics on it as it wasn't something I was searching for then. I believe that coin was maybe in an ANACS holder,

You definitely did not overpay. In fact, you got a good deal.

Looks to be in good condition and you can't go wrong for $8. ;)

Right; if you are going to remove it from that cardboard, suggest just cutting through the Mylar. Don't try peeling or prying it apart. If you are going to leave it in that cardboard, use e.g. needle-nose pliers to smash those staples flatter than flat.

I think it would cost you more than $100 to get certified and would not increase its value much.
