This was a total impulse purchase from this past weekend show here in Portland, OR
I passed on it on Saturday after oggling over it for quite a while. On Sunday, I hit the show again and found myself saying "I'll take it". It's pretty scarce with an estimated 100-500 struck.
It's really pretty with glass-like surfaces. When rotated, the color just jumps off the piece.
For me, it's proven impossible to shoot and show off the reflective surface underneath.
I've been trying to look up the pop reports with no luck. I found this particular piece on NGC website, but cannot find it specifically on their population census. I cannot find any at all on Coinfacts - admittedly, I'm not very practiced at searching either website.

These are the only 2 I can find on the NGC site.

You might be searching wrong as auction records show at least four graded examples of GW-272/Baker-97A have been auctioned since 2017 (MS63-64-64-65 with both NGC & PCGS represented). Your piece came out of a very recent auction where it sold right in the expected price range per the GW catalog - a nice example.

I appreciate the information. I was looking simply for population reports but am curious about auction prices too now that you mention it.
