Will go PCGS 65FH, easy.
Wow that's the deal of the day there
HAPPY COLLECTING
If it was from GSC then I would jump on it.
Even in that condition a Type 2 1916 SLQ has gotta be worth a few thousand dollars.
At that price how could you go wrong

I don't know why the seller say's it is dateless. I can see the date just fine!

That's the rare incused date version.

1916 or 1917 SLQ? The coin belongs to a friend, I'm no expert on the subject, but when I look at certain diagnostics, I see details that make it obviously a 1916 or 1917 with no date. So here's a photo:

@ricko thoughts?
No picture? Too bad.
@bramn8r ... I will leave that one up to the SLQ experts. Cheers, RickO
You coin is a 1917. A 1916 wouldn't have such strong shield rivets or the half-circle curve at the bottom of the drapery next to Liberty's right foot.
1917

I saved this from a thread someone posted here years ago about cherrypicking a 1916 in a lot of dateless type 1 SLQ's listed on eBay. It's an image from that eBay auction. Can you spot the 1916?
The shield rivets are a dead giveaway… strong rivets = 1917, weak rivets = 1916.
The 1916 in the above picture is on the right, third row from the top.
Looks like a 17:
The left side drapery looks 17ish.
Pete
@cmerlo1 looks like third one down on the right

Coin 9 is the 1916
How much is a low grade dateless 1916 SLQ in a PCGS slab worth?
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

I've now learned that strong rivets in the shield is the 1917 dead giveaway detail, thanks everyone, that's why I check here first.
@PerryHall 9/21 auction:$1600 3/19 $900
So the 1916 is more valuable, even though it's less riveting?
