About the only good thing about this very expensive and repetitive offering, is that it might be the last new gold coin for 2021.

I don't know prior prices, but 2012-W is the lowest I see.

Secondary market only for moderns when I decide I desire to stack some of these bullion related issues. Tired of the high prices and games especially the last two years from the mint. Almost all issues are substantially less-even graded 70's-than USM prices.

Was thinking of picking this one up as a carry piece and my first gold coin to celebrate some recent financial achievements. Not sure I want to though with a 50%+ premium. May just grab a bullion coin instead. Thoughts? Was really wanting this one but now not sure.

For a pocket piece I would suggest what ever you like for bullion level plus maybe ten percent if it’s an old common date. There’s a whole world of scratch and ding coins at bullion. Just my opinion
