I got bored, too

Seeing Gumby's thread on Roosies got me to thinking that I had once collected circulated (from circulation) dimes. Then I wondered where they went and do I still have them? Had to be in a box somewhere that I haven't opened in decades upon decades.....went on the search:
This is what I found. About 8 blue folders full of coins. And, low and behold there was a Roosie set. Cool to see them after over 50 years. I guess I didn't miss them much, 'eh?
Anyway I just now noticed that I quit collecting these in 1963. In fact the book only goes to '63. Perhaps '64 was a non coin year for me as it was my senior year of HS and girls were far more interesting than coins. Anyway, here it is for you to view (have not looked for errors or varieties, yet). Might wait a few more decades to do that.
bob :)
ps: should I complete and add the silver 64's?

Cool find. Brings back fond memories I hope.

Cool! I'd just leave it as is since unless you find 64's in circulation. That's unlikely but you can start hitting the coinstar reject bins.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

To your question I would be inclined to finish it out and add the 1964 coins, it is a minimal cost for those coins and as I am a series collector being that close I would just want to finish it up to close out the silver years.

I finished it with dimes from my silver stash in my safe.

Only if you find them in circulation.

I remember filling a Whitman Roosevelt Dime book from circulation back in the early 1960's. None of the dates and mints were hard.

go for it, put the '64's in there, look again in 50 years and be happy you did
