Two. The first was a football experience. Going up for a pass I ended up getting hit low then flipping over and landing on my head. Woke up in the hospital with no memory of it. The second was worse. I was threading a pipe and the handle of the pipe threader hit me in the head. The bad part was that I had the oldest Hydrant boy with me and we were alone. He was a newborn at the time and strapped into one of those little baby carriers. We live in a very rural area and as I went down my last thoughts were that the coyotes would get him. It was terrible. The Lovely Mrs. Hydrant found me and saved us both. I was out cold.

Same here, back then I didn't even realize what a concussion was, it was just "walk it off".

I probably got a minor one when I was a little kid. I remember falling off a hammock and hitting my head on a concrete floor. I saw spots and had a headache, but still ran around like a little fool with my cousins.

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

7 and counting. Gonna be one of the CTE stats and am fine with that- donating my brain for it.

first one I know of in 2nd grade, then 3rd then 4th. Then multiple playing football through college. I got my last one a few years ago when I took a golf club to the head when a kid was in my stall at Top Golf. I am 6'6 and he did not see me. I get headaches a lot and dizzy some, but that really did not start until this year and I turned 48 in April. Besides that I think I have all my faculties, Lets hope I beat the odds.

I only know of one for sure though it wasn't officially diagnosed. Or, if it was, I was not told.

When I was 14, I was walking to school and walked in front of a car. Car hit me, I rolled up on the hood, headbutted the windshield, was knocked out. The car stopped, I rolled off and I was awake and up on my feet pretty quickly (I think). When I came to, there must've been 10 people around me, all of them asking me my name. I got mad that they were making me repeat myself, LOL. I went to the hospital where they checked me out and sent me home pretty quickly.

I’ve had five that a doctor diagnosed soon after and I can remember two other instances where I didn’t seek medical help but still had concussion like symptoms. The odd thing was none of these were football related.

(Defensive player after a vicious hit) "Coach, I'm seeing three of everybody"

(Coach) "Then get back out there and tackle the guy in the middle"

The one thing with mine...I have to make a full effort to remember them all every time I try to count. 4 of them I was out and I don't know how long to this day. One took me a year to get close to figuring out even the basics of what happened, and I still am not 100% on that one.

The main one I can recall is when I was 12. Was riding my bike across the highway and did not see any cars coming so I started to cross. Next thing I knew was hearing screeching tires from the brakes and my head breaking the windshield. Every thing was in slow motion and no pain whatsoever as I saw a clump of my hair float across my face and I landed on my back on the side of the road. Next thing I remember was being in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Just more stitches in the head, a dislocated hip, and now at 60 I have a horrible memory and a hip full of arthritis.
