What If…GTG $2.5 1900 Liberty (Grade Revealed)

Here are pictures of a $2.5 1900 Liberty I recently picked up. There is a scratch on the obverse at about 11:00. What’s your opinion of the grade with and without the scratch? I’ll post the assigned grade later today.

A lot of chatter on the neck and in the reverse field. MS64..... Cheers, RickO
I'd guess weak 63 with (and still 63 without).

MS63. That mark will not make a difference one way or the other at this grade level.

Looks like a 63 to me.

Ricko was spot on. The 63 and 63+ were in the ballpark. Others may have been a little harsh. The picture is 6x the actual size so the dings and chatter may have been weighted more heavily because of the magnification.
BTW, the price difference for this date between a 63 and 64 is about 12%. There are other dates where the price difference between these grades would be 2x or more. When you're paying that type of premium for a one point difference in grade you really need to be an expert at grading.
Those are nice little coins!
Here’s my “63”
