Schertz, TX coin show report

This is a quarterly one day show that has made a comeback over the past several months. This show was well attended, more so in the beginning. There were quite a few young people in attendance, filling albums and chasing down what they thought were cool coins. There is plenty of space in the venue, and quite a few people were wearing masks.

I was there to chase down some coins for the empty spots in my Library of Coins albums along with upgrades, and I was successful at this show. This might be the first time in a while that I didn't add a single slabbed coin to my collection. From what I could tell, type and series collecting was strong, along with Mexican and Philippines coinage. Bullion seemed to be pretty blah, unless it was in coin form. Overall a good coin show day, and no wines wee consumed. The bourbon and Coke came later!

Always take a picture of the sign.

The bourse floor.

The new additions. The 1955 nickel has pretty neat rainbow rim toning.

1955 nickel. The "spot" on the second photo is part of the holder, not on the coin.

There is an actual space for the 1942/1 in the Library of Coins album! Does anyone here now about how many were minted?

This was my main purchase, a decent looking 1942/1 which I graded VF to XF:
