PCI 10 digit Franklin still white, watching for toning.

The PCI holders are known/rumored to cause toning, but for some reason this coin sure hasn't been impacted yet. Maybe there was actually a period of time something was different with the slab components!
Has anyone had some of these PCI slabbed coins stay white for years/decades, then all of a sudden start toning later on?

I never purchased a PCI slabbed coin. First time I saw one, was at a coin show out west...many years ago... Had not heard of them at the time, so did not buy. No idea about the tarnish issue, except for what I have read here. Cheers, RickO
I suspect the reaction requires moisture. Either at the time of slabbing or seeping in afterwards. Is the coin stored in a dry climate?

It’s likely stable at this point.
Upper midwest, have had it in a PCGS storage box ever since owning it.
I think it hasn’t toned because the label doesn’t say “100% White”
I’m pretty sure the higher percentage they stated was white, the faster they toned in-slab.
