Post your " 1880 S Morgan" Hammered Gems

Yes its very true that there are Morgans that are rarerhigher in value, but no one can never say the 1880 S Morgan Silver Dollar isn't the Gem of the series.
Some may disagree but as an 80 S Morgan collector I cannot ever walk by a hammered 80 s gem.
Please post your 1880 s Morgan's here only 80 s ....lets see what 80 s grade out shines the other.
Ill image a few of mine.....and post.

Very nice.... I do not have an '80S Morgan... Probably because you have so many...
Cheers, RickO
The 80-S is one of my favorites. They are usually nice. I don’t currently have one.
I’d like a 67 graded Morgan and 80-S is what I’d prefer...

79S, 80S and 81S all seem to come very nice.
I would agree that the 80-s can come HAMMERED.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
80-S is indeed one of the most common gems of the series , but 82-S is super high grade can have a deeper, mesmerizing look to it because many dies were polished with stronger curvature than they were for 80-S. You see it once in a while on 81-S, but most often with 82-S.

This is one of my favorite gems among all my Morgans. Not wildly toned, but just really nice.
Yes indeed after my 80 s favorite date and mint are the 81s and 82s Morgans, the quality of mint during these years was top of the mark! What I love about these years and mm is this, from xf to ms no matter the grade the specimens still look like a great coin.
Strike durring these years from the San Francisco mint was perfect to mint a masterpiece.

Agree. Those boys at the SF Mint during 79-81 were doing superb work!

One of the best made dates in the series. Like a poster above already mentioned, I think the 1882-S is the pinnacle of the series, followed very closely by the 81-S and 80-S.
