A coin from my collection

I had not been to the safety deposit box at the bank in a long time and needed to stop by to see the coins. I took a picture of this one to share. I can say that the coin looks amazing in hand (it almost doesnt look real) and I can stare at it for hours. Big proof gold is really something special. Anyway, thought I would share it. Thanks

    Thanks and yes the pictures suck. I was in a tiny room at the bank with two masks on and trying not touch much lol. I took the picture quick and didnt look at it until I left. What cant be seen in the picture (especially the obverse) are the deep mirrors.

    lol. It looks like that from that picture but it has plenty of company. I took everything out of the SDB (mostly pcgs 20 coin boxes) to do a little inventory and then took the picture before loading the SDB back up.

    It has been about a year. Normally I will go "see" my coins frequently but with covid only on special occasions.

    @Gazes - Absolutely phenomenal! The only gold I own are in my various Type Sets, but none are proof. And yours is not only proof, but a Deep Cameo! And yours is not only a Proof Deep Cameo, but yours is one of the very few that merits the coveted CAC! As many of us know, only a VERY LOW percentage of graded gold coins can achieve getting a CAC sticker!!!!

    You should be VERY proud! ENJOY!

    Thanks for all the comments. I almost didnt pull the trigger on this coin for one reason---I bought it at the start of covid and no one knew what would happen to the economy. I threw caution to the wind and bought it anyway (nervously). Interestingly it was probably the perfect time to buy since i think it would cost considerably more now. That being said I have no plans to sell.
