These are marketing gimmicks. I have a few but I didn't pay any premium for them.

They are marketing gimmicks but like most gimmicks they work on a lot of people. And since a collector type person is already predisposed to a certain amount of OCD and such it is a ripe audience.
I just collect coins.... Not slabs, labels, stickers, boxes or general hoop de doo....
