I have had every order placed since May canceled because they said PayPal didn’t cover a charge for a $24 uncirculated set purchased in January and shipped in June. I’m livid. No email, no call, no letter. Just canceled every single order.

How did you set up your PayPal account with the mint? Did you choose Balance, Credit Card or Bank Account? If you chose PayPal Balance and the funds were not in the account it would be declined. Since it is an automatic transaction you can't split between Balance and Credit Card or Bank account. You have only authorized 1 form of payment.
perhaps this paypal thing wasn't well thought out at the mint
you'd have to get someone on the phone tonight who can work magic, otherwise you'll need to be up at 7:30 tomorrow morning. your stuff will be sold to someone else.
perhaps your house rep in DC can smooth things out so the mint doesn't think you're crooked. that's what it took for someone on here that got a call from Mint HQ's collections desk.
If you can get someone there to listen, mention your $$ volume YTD and $$ just cancelled.
Better check with PayPal also.
I don’t know how it got screwed up but I can’t believe they never contacted me. I had over $20k in orders canceled. Not a single peep out of them.
I’ve had quite a few orders go through without a single problem since Jan and June. I can’t imagine it’s a PayPal issue.
It was a $54 order, two sets. One shipped immediately one shipped months later.
How could they ship something without verifying payment in the first place? Months later no less, makes no sense. They said they will have to call me back in 1-2 days to resolve so my 2 coin set from yesterday will also get canceled.
Paypal controls the payment. That's why I suggested talking to them. They could have given initial approval and then reversed payment on the Mint.
Of course the evidence should be in your paypal account. Is there a missing payment?
