Introducing one of the 1982 small date weighing in at 3.1 with a record of D over S U.S. Cent
Your critique's have always been a... lets just say an educational factor in the good, better, best, quest.
With respect.
And my eyes are not turning brown.
How she look ?
Under the gum reflects an S, to the west, (same size) a soft S, tilted and visable.
ON, the northwest side of the tilted (30* right) S in view is a strong, small (?), and defined D.

One Die crack forming a rainbow,
effecting the northeast of the obverse side of the coin.

Again on the reverse (die crack) although not as strong.

Without validation, I'm left with speculation. That D is faint at best, if at all (placement of mint mark ?). . It could be a smudge or other distracting spot. I'm not so sure that isn't minted in Philly. Just my humble view. But you know.... have fun with your coins.

I got a text with this, the other day.

Not to go off track, or anything. Just sharing and caring.

    Spend it.

I think that's schmutz, not a mint mark.

    Speculation is good.
This coin was abused in so many ways in target practice.
    THIS IS NOT MY 82.......................
