I have actually found 2 of these not sure if these are the valuable ddo 1969 s. What is it can you help me what is it and what's it worth.

    Machine Doubling. Unless the date and IGWT looks like this, not the 69S DDO.

    Yes - Just MD - as the MintMark is also doubled from the machine bounce.

    It’s a 1969 S circulated Lincoln cent. Worth approximately one cent.

    Machine doubling and worth no more than one cent. Note how the Mint mark is also doubled. On a true hub doubled coin (the good kind of doubling) the Mint mark would not be doubled.

    The mint mark was punched separately after the die was made. On a true doubled die coin, the mint mark would not be doubled.

    What if ?
    The doors, the windows, and the speed of the press was opened up. Now the press is locked down after all the calibrations with samples given for the signed off and with the command of " RUN IT.
    A stiff breeze knocks over a can of wd 40 as the pressman opens her up, say to 4o,ooo per hour,
    The spring in the registration, (or guide) gets a little chilly and can't keep up which pings into a gear squeeze as the spray is doing its job. When my press was running (20 or 25k per ) I would pull samples every 100.
    Figure at that speed a blink of an eye is 200.
    Do you really think the press was locked down in that position showing that image ?

    Loose and the above is maybe a good formula.

    ...............and when the MM is also doubled on a 1969-S Lincoln, that means strike doubling MDD.

    In 1969, mintmarks on coins were hand punched into the die AFTER it was completed. It should not be doubled.

    Just to clarify, the pressroom simulation on my end was sheet fed (paper). U have to think outside the box most of the time.

    Probably worth 2 cents because its not zinc
