Those large ads are expensive so they must produce good results for the scammers.

I've never heard of a roll of 15. That makes it worse.

I think I may know what entity is responsible. If so they've been involved in many dishonest schemes in the past.

Shame we no longer have an FTC with any respect.

Disgusting scam. There must be something illegal about this. They are trying to imitate or falsely associate w/govt entity. Probably targeting the elderly or other vulnerable people. Newspaper should have some responsibility for printing it.

Newspapers today are desperate for any advertising they can get. That's not to say I don't totally agree with what you say. They also allow full page ads for the "hotel" buyers trying to cheat people out of their coins. We have a local dealer who used to picket those crooks.

Wow.... I have no doubt some people will lose money on this scam. Obviously not knowledgeable coin people.... Such a shame. Cheers, RickO

And when they try to sell them to their local B&M coin dealer they'll accuse him of being a crook when he offers them what they are really worth. :#

@PerryHall... You are 100% correct.... Although I am not a dealer, I often have had people ask me the value of their coins... and when they get them from TV or one of these scams.... right away, they think I am lying and trying to scam them. People hate to be scammed... and initially condemn the truth tellers. Cheers, RickO
