Are all the coins in that set "rare" cherrypicks? ;)

Now what would be interesting is to put a complete date and MM set together in those cases from way back til now!

Three of the five do exist with nice doubled dies.

Did you buy this outright or are you making payments?

Came from Littleton’s mail order no doubt.

A goal reached no matter how minor should be celebrated. Congrats!

That’s how coins taken directly out of circulation looked when I started collecting them as a kid.

It was always fun to cherry pick Walkers from a roll of Franklins & Mercury’s from a roll of Roosevelts.

Brings back great collecting memories!! 😃

Now, you need to start and complete a full Walker set. >:)

    That's your assignment. :D

Once upon a time, I sold an awful lot of those year sets. I had a sign in my showcase that said, "Ask us about our anniversary 'Coin Year Sets'".....
So people would. I would explain how fortunate we all are, and most of us don't really need anything.
So, in an effort to solve the gift-giving dilemma, I put together sets of coins for a specific, special year. Sets that are sure to steal the show at the party or occasion.
    People loved them.........

I have always loved those little snap lock plastic cases!
