How about today's fantastic change find!

Stopped at the liquor store for some wine today. Purchase came to $34.98, so I got two cents change:

The one on the left is dated 1981, so it must be copper, right? Well, let's see . . . . . A real Lincoln from 1981 should weigh about 3.11 grams. This one weighs 0.43 grams. I guess the reduced weight must be the result of wear from circulation or being struck on a wrong planchet. I'd like to post more pictures, but I have to call Heritage and Stacks Bowers to get a bidding war going for the right to bring this gem to auction.

Huh?
Have you been sampling some of the product you purchased?
All with tongue firmly in cheek in case anyone didn't recognize it as such. Along the lines of some of our "fantastic parking lot finds". It is a little surprising that a liquor store clerk would bother to pass it off on a customer.

An extremely rare 'play coin' usually made of plastic.
And yes, I got the "All with tongue firmly in cheek in case anyone didn't recognize it as such. "

Just needs a light soak. Don’t clean it though! Buy the book first.
