Is the private message system down? (Resolved, false alarm)

Tried to send a new PM to two different members and they did not go through. Anyone else having this problem?
Edit - another poster helped me resolve MY issue!

I tried to get thru to you hours ago and couldn't, then just now, and got the same again.
"PERMISSION PROBLEM - user's profile is private".
This is ground zero for where the mystic/mystique/mishmosh/mistake issue all started.
Hopefully a flame war has been averted.

When I click on Catbert, bad things happen.

I clicked on the name of four different posters to this thread and in each case, it pulled up their profile, enabling me to PM them if I wished. But each time I clicked on the OP’s name, I got the same message:
“ Permission Problem
This user's profile is private.”

It says his profile is "private". Maybe he checked a box he didn't mean to, or perhaps PCGS is being held up by Ransomware pirates!

@Catbert go to your profile and uncheck the private option. That might help.
Your profile where you click on the circled item and choose “edit”
Then uncheck the circled area
Now it all makes sense….
