After 2 years of my lucky nickel profile picture I have decided to upgrade my profile picture

It is my new quarter that I have already posted to much about lol 😝.

    I really wouldn't be able to choose between the two. Both are really nice coins.

    Both beautiful ladies. Couldn't go wrong with either. That quarter is stunning. A few somebody's did a awesome job of preserving that coin in such a wonderful state. Enjoy!

    What's the difference? Both over enhanced photos that could be any coin - nothing personalized.

    The Proof Nickel and Proof Quarter are ok. You ask which I like best? I like YOU as a fellow collector who is a Positive asset to this forum!

    Thanks, and the best part of coin collecting for me is you guys on the forum. Chatting about coins with you and the rest of the forum members is what keeps me going with collecting. I absolutely do the hobby for the history, but also for the friends I make and the discussions I have.

    I vote for using something more distinctive and instantly recognizable for your profile pic. I have this lego pirate ship. I switched to a nice gold coin but the pics are so small (I browse on my phone) that it looked like any other gold coin. Lots of people use coins for pics, easier to associate something different.

    Having said that, the proof quarter is a nice coin.

    I like both of your coins.... Would be a hard choice without them in hand. Coin pictures are difficult to judge. I did not use a coin picture for my icon.... and have had the same one for over 20 years here. ;) Cheers, RickO

    Yea the quarter is many times better in person than what the camera can capture. It’s just stunning 🤩
