Did not work for Northrop but I like the medal and I thought I'd share.

Most likely an early 1980s medal of Northrop Aircraft Inc. based on the type aircrafts (F-18 (year 1983) at 8 o'clock position and F-20 (year 1982) at 5'oclock position) depicted on the medal. Company is now known as Northrop Grumman. Many legacy companies (merger/purchase) has made what Northrop Grumman is composed of today. https://northropgrumman.com/wp-content/uploads/NG-logo-timeline-2020-heritage.pdf

I worked there from 1988-92.
