I'm just warning everybody right now. When it gets to number 60, i'd better not see any name other than Chuck Bednarik or else there will be yell to pay.

    oughta be otto! 😉

Otto Graham? - Yea, that's a toughie to beat I must admit.

I'll then just be angry in silence. ;)

i was just ruffling feathers! my vote can also be bought for $5 via paypal or for future investigative services. 😉

Actually, he wore #60 for 6 seasons (1946-1951), and #14 for only 4 seasons (1952-1955).

I just had a seance and we contacted Chuck. He told me to tell everyone here that he's looking forward to seeing the official post recognizing him as the greatest NFL player ever to wear the number 60.

He says no rush on the post. He's got all of eternity to wait for it. :)

First we have to get to 60, number 38 has me baffled, I just can't think of anyone. The seas are getting rough Steve, avast ye matey, turn her 60 degrees to the starboard side and hang on!

kenny easley perhaps? hof, defensive rookie if the year, several pro bowls. 80s all decade team.

was a big fan of largent/warner combo back in the day. they were my default in tecmo bowl when i couldnt get the raiders/san fran. 😉

just remember kenny laying some absolutely brutal hits as a kid.
